Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, the Bishop of the Diocese of Udupi administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 22 Children’s of St Francis Xavier Church at Mudarangadi on 11th February, 2018.
In his homily Bishop spoke about the importance of the sacrament of Confirmation in ones spiritual growth. He also said that the sacrament of confirmation sanctifies, empowers and prepares the faithful to face the spiritual challenges of life. The sacrament of Confirmation makes us the temples of the Holy Spirit. The Bishop also spoke on the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit which are gratuitous gifts of God to live a life of holiness.
