The valedictory function of the Ruby Jubilee year celebrations of Milagres English Medium Kindergarten School, Kallianpur and Milagres Milana – 2020 were held at Milagres English Medium School campus on 26thJanuary 2020.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi diocese and President of CESU presided over the function. The guests of honor were Mr Wilfred D’Souza, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra; Mr Raghupathi Bhat, MLA of Udupi; Mr Pramod Madhwaraj, former Minister; Mr Janardhan Thonse, Zilla Panchayath Member; Mrs Pushpa Kotian, President of Kallianpur Grama Panchauyat, Prof Mathew Ninan, Director of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar; V. Rev. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, Dean of Kallianpur Deanery and Correspondent of the Milagres Institution; Rev. Fr Lancy Fernandes, Principal of Milagres English Medium School; Rev. Fr William Gonsalves Founder of the Milagres English Schools; V. Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonca, Dean of Udupi Deanery and former Principal of Milagres College; Rev. Fr Canute Noronha, Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres Cathedral, Mr Jeffrey Dias, vice president of parish pastoral council of Milagres Cathedral; Mrs Veera D’Silva Head Mistress of Milagres English Medium Primary School, Mrs Anusha and Mrs Priya Coordinators of the organizing committee; Mr Michael Mendonca President of PTA primary section; Mr Jayeesh member of PTA High School section and others were present on the dias.
The programme started by welcome dance by small children of Milagres Kinder Garten School, Kallianpur. Bishop along with other dignitaries released the balloons in the air. Mr Pramod Madwaraj unveiled the Ruby Jubilee Calendar and Rev. Fr William Gonsalves Founder of the Milagres English Schools inaugurated the Alumni Facebook page KMEMA.
Retired teachers, Donors, Sponsors, Headmistress, Former and Present Correspondent andPrincipals were honoured by the dignitaries on this occasion.

Rev. Fr Lancy Fernandes welcomed the gathering and Mrs Wilma Machado, coordinator, kindergarten, rendered vote of thanks. After the stage programme cultural programme started. Every child participated in the cultural programme. Milagres Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council members, parishioners, Parents, old students and well-wishers were present on this occasion. Before the stage programme Musical evening by Carol Beat Group and ‘Nage Habba’ comedy acts by renowned comedian Richard Louis and team entertained the audience.
