Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese blessed the huge Monolithic Idol of St Lawrence statue at St Lawrence Basilica Attur-Karkal on 19th January, 2020.
The 15-feet Monolithic Idol of St Lawrence on a 32-feet height pillar was blessed by Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo. The statue was donated in memory of the late Leena D’Silva by her family members from Attur Parish.
V. Rev. Fr George D’Souza, Rector of the St Lawrence Basilica, Attur; Rev. Fr Melwyl Roy Lobo, Asst. Parish Priest of St Lawrence Church; Rev. Fr Stephen D’Souza, Director of Divya Jyothi; Parish Council Members and Parishioners were present on this occasion.
