Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Kolalgiri unit built a new grotto for the memory of year of youth. Most Rev. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Anil Castelino, Parish Priest of Kolalgiri Parish; Rev. Fr Roman Mascarenhas and ICYM president of Kolalgiri unit inaugurated the grotto together cutting the ribbon. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo led the prayer service and blessed the new grotto.
Soon after the blessing, Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo celebrated holy Eucharist along with Rev. Fr Anil Castelino and Rev. Fr Roman Mascarenhas.
After the mass, possession to the cemetery was held. The Bishop led the prayer service at cemetery and blessed the renovated cemetery. After the blessing, a small felicitation program was held at cemetery. Donors, contractors and workers were felicitated on this occasion and on behalf of Kolalgiri parishioners bishop felicitated Rev. Fr Anil Castelino for his work in Kolalgiri. Kolalgiri Parish Council Members and Parishioners were present on the occasion.
