Prison Ministry of India Udupi Unit Celebrated 5th Anniversary at Thottam Church on 01st December, 2019.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo celebrated mass along with Rev. Fr Francis Cornelio and Rev. Fr Fredrick D’Souza. Bishop preached a meaningful sermon.
After the mass, a short stage programme was held at Church auditorium. The programme began with prayer by Thottam church choir. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Francis Cornelio, Parish Priest of Thottam Parish and Spiritual Director of Prison Ministry of India, Udupi Unit; Rev. Fr Frederick D’Souza, Parish Priest of Manipal Parish and Spiritual Director of Society of St Vincent De Paul; Mr Rosario D’Souza, Co-ordinator of Prison Ministry of India, Udupi Unit; Mr Walter Martis, President of Diocesan Society of St Vincent De Paul and Sr Melania were present on the occasion.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo lighted the lamp with the dignitaries. Sr Melania read brief report. Bishop addressed the gathering and congratulated the Prison Ministry of India Udupi Unit and appreciated their good work.
Rev. Fr Francis Cornelio welcomed the gathering and Mr Rosario D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. Mr Gartian Bothello compeered the programme. All Prison Ministry of India Udupi Unit members and all Society of St Vincent De Paul presidents were present on this occasion.
