The Titular Feast of Maria Goretti celebrated at St Maria Goretti Church, Hirgan on 07th July, 2019 with much fervour and devotion.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese was the main celebrant. The others present were Rev. Fr Anil Cornelio, Parish Priest of Hirgan Church; Rev. Fr Roshan D’Souza, Principal of St Maria Goretti English Medium School Hirgan. Bishop preached a meaningful homily on how we can become saints in our day to day life.
After the mass Fr Anil Cornelio thanked donors and sponsors. Bishop had meeting with 18 Coordinators and the animators of Hirgan parish.
