Most Rev Dr Gerald Isacc Lobo, the Bishop of Udupi, administered and conducted the oath taking ceremony in short but meaningful prayer service held in the Bishop’s Chapel here on 1st June 2015, a month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. V. Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonca who is also the Chancellor of the Diocese and Parish Priestof Barkur took charge as the director of Commission for Social Communications. Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto took charge as the Spiritual Animator of the commission for Women. As you are aware that there are 18 Commissions in the Diocese working towards the implementation of the Pastoral Plan 2025. We wish the very best for both Fr Valerian and Fr Reginald in their respective ministries.
