Indian Catholic Youth Movement of Christ King Church, Karkal Town unit, celebrated its Silver Jubilee on 03rd December, 2023.
The felicitation programme was held in the church premises. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese, V. Rev. Fr Paul Rego, Dean of Karkal Deanery, Rev. Fr Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Christ King Church, Karkal, Rev. Fr Steevan Fernandes, Diocesan Director of Youth Commission, Rev. Fr Larry Pinto, Deanery Director of Youth Commission, Mrs Reshma D’Souza, ICYM animator of Karkal Town Parish, Rev. Fr Jithesh D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest of Karkal Church, Mr Nevil D’Silva, Vice President of Karkal Parish Pastoral Council, Ms Ashley D’Souza, Diocesan President of ICYM, Mr Lloyd Castelino, Deanery President of ICYM, Mr Sway D’Souza, ICYM President Karkal unit, and others were present on the dais.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme with the dignitaries. former presidents of ICYM, animators, and Parish Priest who were felicitated on the occasion. The prizes were distributed by the dignitaries for the various games conducted by the ICYM for the Parishioners on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Rev. Fr Clement Mascarenhas, Rev. Steevan Fernandes, V. Rev. Fr Paul Rego, Mr Nevil D’Silva addressed the gathering on the occasion and congratulated the ICYM for its achievements and wished them well.
All the members of the ICYM, Parish Finance Committee, Parish Pastoral Council and the parishioners were present on the occasion.
