The Foundation stone laying ceremony of St Antony Chapel new building at Pakala near Belman was held on 21th February, 2023.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo presided over the Eucharistic celebration along with V. Rev. Fr Leslie D’Souza, Dean of Shirva Deanery; Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, Parish priest of Belman Church and Rev. Fr Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Karkal Parish. The Bishop preached on the importance of the Church or Chapel.
After the mass the Bishop conducted the prayers and blessed the foundation stone of the upcoming new chapel building. Belman Parish Pastoral Council members and the parishioners were present on this occasion.
