St Vincent De Paul Society Pangla Unit Celebrated its Golden Jubilee at St John the Evangelist Church Pangla on 4th December, 2022.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Celebrated holy Eucharist along with Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, Parish Priest of Pangla; Rev. Fr Anil Pinto, Asst. Parish Priest and Rev. Fr Vijay D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest. Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves preached the homily.
After the Mass a brief programme was held at parish hall. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, V. Rev. Fr Leslie D’Souza, Dean of Shirva Deanery; Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, Rev. Fr Anil Pinto, Rev. Fr Vijay D’Souza, Mrs Margaret Seema D’Souza, Mr Walter Martis and others were present on the dias.
V. Rev. Fr Leslie D’Souza read the gospel and gave short reflection. Rev. Fr Anil led the prayer service. Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves took oath from six new members. Mrs Margaret Seema D’Souza read the report. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo congratulated the members of SVP Pangla unit and asked them to continue the good work.
