The faithful of St Pius X Church, Pius Nagar, Relatives and Friends of Rev. Fr Albert Crasta gathered together for a Thanksgiving Eucharist on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Priesthood on 20th April 2022.
Rev. Fr Albert offered the thanksgiving Mass along with V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Kundapur Deanery and 15 priests from Udupi and Mangalore.Rev. Fr Cyril Lobo Asst. Priest of Moodubelle preached a meaningful homily.
Rev. Fr Albert thanked God for the precious gift of life and for the gift of 25 years of Priesthood. He thanked God for the blessings he received from his loving family, friends and relatives. Later, a felicitation program was organized by the Parishioners and family members to make the Silver Jubilee of their Priest a memorable one.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr John Barboza former Parish Priest; Parish Pastoral Council Vice-President and Secretary and 18 Commissions Co-ordinator and others were present on the dais.
V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro raised the toast and wished health and happiness to Fr Albert Crasta.
The bishop congratulated Rev. Fr Albert and felicitated on behalf of Udupi Diocese. Rev. Fr Albert Crasta was felicitated also by Parishioners and family members.
Rev. Fr Albert expressed his feelings and thanked all those who supported and helped this program to be a memorable one. It was a day filled with feelings of gratitude, happiness and joy. The presence and participation of the parishioners, relatives and friends was commendable.
