The annual Pastoral Consultation of the clergy of the Diocese of Udupi was held at Milagres Tri-Centenary Hall on 29th September, 2021. Diocesan and Religious priests took part in the consultation along with the bishop.
The Consultation was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo. In his inaugural address he said that it was heartening to see so many priests taking time out to take part in the consultation. He invited the members to take active part in the half a day deliberation.
The sessions that followed discussed:
- General Body meeting of Priests’ Welfare Scheme
- Pastoral Issues
- Presentation of PWS Accounts
The Consultation ended with the concluding message by the Bishop. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo and Denis D’Sa were the moderators for discussion on the pastoral issues. Rev. Fr Harold Pereira compeered the program and Rev. Fr Anil Castelino proposed vote of thanks. Rev. Fr Steevan Fernandes led the prayer service.
