The New Diocesan Finance Council members of the Diocese of Udupi were administered the Oath of Fidelity and Secrecy by Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo on 17th September 2023 at 3.00 p.m. at the Bishop’s House Chapel, Udupi.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of the Diocese of Udupi, initiated the ceremony by a short prayer service and administered the oath.
The New Diocesan Finance Council members are Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves, the Diocesan Vicar General, Rev. Fr George D’Souza, Parish Priest, St Lawrence Church, Moodubelle, Rev. Fr Romeo Lewis, the Diocesan Estate Manager, Mrs Irene Noronha, Udupi, Mr Alwyn Francis Saldanha, Manipal, Mr Alexander Lawrence Sequeira, Manipal and Mr Pritish Burton D’Sa, CA, Moodubelle.
The tenure of this Diocesan Finance Council is Five years. The oath taking ceremony was followed by the first meeting of the Diocesan Finance Council.
