The Titular Feast of St Lawrence was celebrated at St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur Karkala on 10th August, 2023 with much fervour and devotion.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese was the main celebrant. V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza, Rector of the Basilica; Rev Fr Roman Mascarenhas, Spiritual Director; V. Rev. Paul Rego, Dean of Karkal Deanery; V. Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, Director of Fr Muller’s Hospital Mangalore and Diocesan priests and Religious priests were present. Rev. Fr Alwyn Sequeira, Editor of ‘Uzvaad’ Udupi diocesan newsletter, preached a meaningful homily.
V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza thanked the donors and the sponsors. Bishop conveyed his festal greetings to the Rector and the parishioners.
