St Pius X Church Piusnagar church celebrated parish feast and diamond anniversary on 08th January, 2020.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese celebrated holy Eucharist along with Msgr. Maxim Noronha, Vicar general of Mangaluru Diocese; V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Kundapur deanery; Rev. Fr Alfred Barboza, Parish Priest of Piusnagar church, deanery priests, diocesan priests and guest priests. Msgr. Maxim D’Souza preached the homily.
After the mass, Msgr. Maxim Noronha, former parish priest of Piusnagar was felicitated by Bishop. Rev. Fr Alfred Barboza thanked donors, sponsors and those who helped the jubilee.

Fr Roque D’Costa, Priest from the Parish; Sr Perpetua, Superior of St Ann’s Convent Piusnagar; Mr Walter Fernandes, Vice President of Piusnagar Parish Pastoral Council; Mrs Jenny D’Sa, Secretary of Piusnagar Parish Pastoral Council; Mrs Leena Tauro, 18 Commissions coordinator of Piusnagar Parish were present on the dias.
The programme began with welcome dance by parish children. Mrs Jenny D’Sa read the brief report of past 60 years. Former and Present Parish Priests, vice-presidents, Secretaries and Gurkars were felicitated on this occasion. Rev. Fr Roque D’Costa was felicitated. He is priest from the parish, serving at Varanasi Diocese, completing 50 years of priesthood.
Rev. Fr John Walter Mendonca, Rev. Fr Vincent D’Souza, Rev. Fr Roque D’Costa, V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro and Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo addressed the gathering and congratulated the Parish Priest and Parishioners.
Rev. Fr Alfred Barboza welcomed the gathering and Mr Walter Fernandes proposed vote of thanks. Mr Wilfred D’Lima and Mrs Pramila D’Sa compeered the programme. After the stage programme dance, skit and other entertainment programme was held.
