Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo blessed the new School building of St Joseph school, Kallianpur on 3rd December, 2019.
V. Rev. Stany B. Lobo inaugurated the building by cutting the ribbon. Rev. Fr Vincent Crasta unveiled the name stone. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo led the prayer service and blessed the school building.
Soon after the blessing a felicitation programme was held at Milagres tri centenary hall, Kallianpur. The programme began with welcome dance by the school children. Most Rev, Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Vincent Crasta, Secretary of Catholic Education Society of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Canute Noronha, Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres Cathedral; Mr Baptist Dias, Donor and old student of the school; Mr Prakash,Donor and old student of the school; Mr Neri Cornelio, Vice President of Milagres Parish Council; Mrs Feliciana Lewis, Secretary of Milagres Parish Council; Mr Melwin Sequeira, Donor and old student of the school; Mr Harold D’Silva, Head Master of the School; Mrs Hilda Rodrigues; Mr Madhava, PTA President and others were present on the dias.
Mr Harold D’Silva read the brief report of the school. Top students winners in studies and various sports got prizes from the dignitaries. Donors were felicitated by the dignitaries on this occasion.
V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, Rev. Fr Vincent Crasta and Most Re. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo addressed the gathering on this occasion. Mr Neri Cornelio welcomed the gathering and Mr Harold D’Silva proposed vote of thanks. Parish pastoral Council members, old students, parents, teachers, students and well-wishers were present on the occasion.
