It was a joyful and memorable event for the faithful of St Antony Church, Kerekatte when their shepherd the Bishop of Udupi, Rt. Rev. Dr. Gerald Lobo visited them from 20th to 21st May, 2019. V. Rev. Fr Xavier Pinto, the Parish Priest and the parishioners extended a warm welcome to him on 20th evening.
On 21stMay, The Bishop had a session on Catechism for the Confirmation children. After the Catechism he celebrated the Holy Eucharist along with Fr Xavier Pinto and Fr Canute Barboza. In his homily, the Bishop preached on the life of St Antony and how we can become saints in our life.
The Pastoral visit concluded on Sunday 21st with a Prayer Service after which the Bishop returned to Udupi.
