Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Lobo blessed the ‘Asha Kiran’ De Addiction and rehabilitation Centre at Heroor near Brahmavara here on 27 February, 2018.
V. Rev. Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais the Provincial Minister of the Capuchins inaugurated the building by cutting the ribbon. Bishop Gerald Lobo lead the prayer service and blessed. A short stage programme followed. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi, V. Rev. Dr Joseph Dolphy Pais, OFM Cap, Provincial, Holy Trinity Province of Karnataka, Ms Ruby Sequeira, the Donor of the building & Rev. Fr Charles Saldanha were present on the dais.
Rev. Fr Charles Saldanha read the brief report of “Asha Kiran” Center which started 27 years ago in Bengaluru. Ms Ruby Sequeira was felicitated by the dignitaries on the dais. Ms Ruby Sequeira, V. Rev. Joseph Dolphy Pais and Most Rev. Gerald Lobo addressed the gathering on the occasion.
Rev. Fr Victor Fernandes, Parish Priest of Brahmavar parish welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Roshan D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest of Brahmavar proposed vote of thanks and Rev. Fr Chetan Lobo, Editor “Uzvaad” compered the programme.
