Udupi Diocesan Central Council of St Vincent De Paul Society Celebrated its Decennial Jubilee at Mother of Sorrows Church Udupi on 7th May, 2023.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Celebrated the holy Eucharist along with Rev. Fr Charles Menezes, Parish Priest of Udupi; Rev. Fr William Martis; Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto, Spiritual Director of SVP Udupi Diocese. Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto preached the homily.
After the Mass a brief programme was held at parish hall. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto, V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes, Mr Jude Mangaladasa; Mr Harold Bothello, Mrs Margaret Seema D’Souza, Mr Walter Martis and others were present on the dias.
The Programme began with prayer song by members of Pilar unit. Most Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp along with the dignitaries. Mrs Margaret Seema D’Souza read the brief report of past 10 years. Mr Gratian Bothello and Mr Jude Mangaladasa were felicitated on the occasion. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo appreciated and congratulated Mr Jude Mangaladasa, Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto and the members of SVP and asked them to continue the good work.
Mr Walter Martis welcomed the gathering and Mr Harold Bothello proposed vote of thanks. Fellowship meal was served to all those who attended the programme.
