Renovated cemetery was blessed at St Ann’s Church, Thottam on All Souls Day on 2nd November, 2022.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, the Bishop of Udupi Diocese celebrated the Holy Eucharist along with Rev. Fr Denis D’Sa, Parish Priest of St Ann’s Church, Thottam and Rev. Fr Anil Cornelio, Vocation promoter of Udupi Diocese. In his homily, the Rev. Fr Anil explained the need to pray for the departed brethren, the meaning of the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting in heaven with the risen Lord.
After the Eucharist, the Bishop blessed the renovated cemetery. He thanked the parishioners and requested them to pray for the departed. Parish pastoral council members and parishioners were present on the occasion.
