Most Rev. Gerald Lobo celebrated the Palm Sunday Service at St Peter’s Church Barkur on 10th April, 2022.
The Palms blessing ceremony started near the Convent. After the blessing of the palms, the procession proceeded to the church. The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated with main celebrant Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with Rev. Fr Philip Neri Aranha, Parish Priest of Barkur church and Rev. Fr Charles Saldanha OFMCap and a number of lay faithful. The Bishop preached a meaningful homily.
