The annual feast of St Lawrence began with great joy and devotion at St Lawrence Basilica Attur, Karkala on 20th February, 2022. It will be held from 20th to 24th February.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese celebrated the holy Eucharist on the Second Day along with V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza, Rector of St Lawrence Basilica; Rev. Fr Roman Mascarenhas, Resident Priest; Rev. Fr Melwin, Asst. Parish Priest of St Lawrence Basilica and priests from Udupi and Mangalore Diocese.
The Bishop preached a meaningful sermon on parents’ responsibility to bring up children in right way.
After the Mass V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza proposed vote of thanks for well-wishers, donors, sponsors and all those help and support to the feast.
