Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese blessed and inaugurated the new St Joseph Vaz Parish Hall at Gangolli on 11th of April, 2021.

Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo celebrated the Holy Eucharist along with Rev. Fr Albert Crasta and Rev. Fr Marvin Fernandes. Bishop preached a meaningful homily about family explaining how to bring up children.

The bishop blessed the auditorium in the presence V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Kundapur Deanery; Rev. Fr Albert Crasta Parish Priest of Gangolli Parish; Rev. Fr Marvin Fernandes, Don Bosco Priest and a large number of priests, religious and parishioners.

The felicitation program began with the prayer dance by the students of Gangolli Parish. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese; V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Kundapur Deanery; Rev. Fr Albert Crasta Parish Priest of Gangolli Parish; Rev. Fr Marvin Fernandes, Don Bosco Priest; Sr Dorin AC, Councilor of Carmel Convent; Mr Vivian, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Gangolli; Mrs Renita Barnes, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Gangolli Mrs Preeti Fernandes, Commissions Coordinator of Gangolli Parish and Mr Srikanth were present on the dais.

The Bishop in his speech said that the parishioners of Gangolli under the leadership of Fr. Albert Crasta have thought of a project that would last for a long time to come. He further said that this Community Hall appropriately called "St Joseph Vaz Parish Hall" could be considered as the best one and gave full credit to Rev. FrAlbert Crasta, Parish Pastoral Council, all the parishioners and the Project Engineer.   

V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro and Rev. Fr Albert Crasta addressed the gathering on the ocasion.

Rev. Fr Albert Crasta was honoured for his service to the parish. Donors were felicitated on this occasion. Mr Raison Rebello, Parishioner of Gangolli was felicitated for representing Karnataka volleyball team as captain.     

Mr Vivian welcomed the gathering and Mrs Renita Barnes proposed the vote of thanks. Mr Ovin Rebello compeered the program.
