Most Rev. Gerald Lobo celebrated the Palm Sunday Service at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Nakre on 14th April, 2019.
The Palms blessing ceremony started in front of the grotto in the church campus. After the blessing of the palms the procession proceeded to the church. The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated with main celebrant Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with Rev. Fr Vincent Crasta, Parish Priest of Nakre church and a big number of lay faithful. Most Rev. Gerald Lobo preached the homily.
After the mass Mr George Castelino and Mrs Leena Castelino inaugurated the new belfry in the name of Rev. Fr Balthazar Castelino. Most Rev. Dr Gerald Lobo blessed the belfry.
