Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo paid his official Pastoral Visit to the Parish Priest and the faithful of St. Joseph Church Belman from 20 to 22th June 2015. He initiated the Pastoral Visit with a prayer service in the church and later in the cemetery. Prayers were offered for dear departed. After the prayer service Bishop met the Candidates of the sacrament Confirmation. Then followed the meeting with the Parish Finance Committee and Parish Pastoral Council.

Day two of the visit began with the Solemn Eucharist during which he catechized the children and the adults about the sacrament of Confirmation and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He administered the sacrament of Confirmation to 44  Children of the parish. The Parish Priest of Belman Rev. Fr Lawrence B. D’souza and Asst. Parish Priest John Baptist Moras was present during the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration along with other three priests namely, Fr Sadananda, Fr Vally and Fr Roshan.

After the Mass he met with the members of Woman Commission,  Marian Sodality, Altar Servers, YCS, ICYM, Third order, Catholic Sabha, All Teachers, SVP. He also attended the SCC ward meeting in one of the wards of the Church. Then the bishop visited the sick.

The third day began with the Mass in the Convent. And then visit to St Antony Chapel in Manjalpalke. Then  visit to the primary High School and Primary School At 9.40 pm. After the school visit he met all school and high school teacher’s,  Liturgy Commissions, SCC central committee finally on 22th June Bishop concluded his pastoral visit with a concluding prayer service.
