The Foundation stone laying ceremony of St Antony Church new building at Kandlur was held on 24thAugust, 2019.
Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo presided over the Eucharistic celebration along with V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Kundapur Deanery; Rev. Fr Xavier Pinto, Rector of St Antony Shrine Kerekatte; Rev. Fr Charles Noronha, Parish priest of Basrur Church and Rev. Fr Canute Barboza, Parish Priest of Kandlur Parish. The Bishop preached on the importance of the Church.
After the mass the Bishop conducted the prayers and blessed the foundation stone of the upcoming new church building. Parish Pastoral Council members and the parishioners were present on this occasion.
