Most Rev. Gerald Lobo celebrated Easter night vigil at the open Ground at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi on 31st April, 2018.
The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated by Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with V. Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonca, Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows church; Rev. Fr Lawrence C D’Souza, Secretary of CESU; Rev. Fr Vijay D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows church; Rev. Fr William Martis and a big number of lay faithful.
Fr Vijay preached the homily. More than a thousand people participated enthusiastically in the solemn ceremony and celebration. The liturgy was well-organized. The parish choir embellished the liturgy with excellent musical accompaniment.
