Good Friday was celebrated with Prayer and Devotion at Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur on 30th March, 2018.
The Solemn rite was led by Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, Rector of Milagres Cathedral; Rev. Fr Rolwin Aranha, Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres Cathedral; Rev. Fr Henry Mascarenhas, Estate Manger of Udupi Diocese; Rev. Fr Herald Mathias, Superior of Pilar Fathers; Rev. Fr Nelson Furtado and a big number of lay faithful.
Rev. Fr Herald Mathias preached the homily. After the homily, Bishop Gerald and Fr Stany prayed for various intentions of the Church.
After the rite, a solemn procession with the statue of Jesus Carrying the Cross was taken around the church with the participation of large number of faithful.
