Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo blessed the holy oils at the Chrism Mass celebrated at Milagres Cathedral on 22nd March 2018.
The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated with main celebrant Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi along with V. Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, Rector of the Milagres Cathedral; V Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonca, Canceller and Dean of Udupi deanery; V. Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza, Dean of Kundapur Deanery; V. Rev. Fr Joswey Fernandes, Dean of Karkal Deanery; V. Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Shirva Deanery; Diocesan and Religious Priests and big number of lay faithful.
The Bishop preached on the greatness of priestly vocation. During the mass holy oils of Baptism, of the sick and of Confirmation were blessed.
