The concluding ceremony of the ‘Year of Faith’ in the Karkala Deanery was held at Karkala on 17 November, 2013. The Bishop of Udupi Dr Gerald Lobo presided over the Eucharistic celebration.  Then the faithful marched in procession along with the Blessed Sacrament to the Town Grounds where the preaching and the Blessing of the Blessed Sacrament took place.  Thousands of faithful from all over the deanery participated in the event.
